1 tsp herb salt
1 teaspoon tip cayenne pepper
1 tart apple, grated

Rösti with Luncheon Roll, Hotsami

Finely grated potatoes combine with the hearty peppery-spicy taste, Maxi sausage, Pikant. A real treat.

150 g Vegan Luncheon Roll, Hotsami [Order No: 160]
600 g potatoes, peeled
1 tsp rock salt
1 tsp herb salt
1 teaspoon tip cayenne pepper
1 tart apple, grated
1 medium tomato, diced
2 tbsp oil, for frying

Preparation

Finely grate the cooked and peeled potatoes with a rösti grater and place in a bowl.

Season the potatoes with salt and herb salt. If you like it a bit fiery, add some cayenne pepper.

Cut the maxi sausage into pieces of about 1 cm and add to the potatoes together with the grated apple and the diced tomatoes. Mix everything well.

Put 1 tablespoon of oil in a non-stick frying pan and fry the potato mix for about 5 minutes, mixing constantly.

Now press the rösti round at the edge with a frying spoon. Continue frying on a medium heat for 10 minutes without mixing.

Now turn the Rösti over. It is helpful to place a large plate on top of the Rösti. Afterwards, simply turn this pan-rösti plate sandwich over. The browned side of the Rösti is now on top of the plate.

Add 1 tablespoon of oil to the pan. Slide the Rösti from the plate back into the frying pan. Continue frying the second half for 10 minutes.

Finally, cover the Rösti and leave to stand for another 5 minute s and serve immediately.
